Forward Farms Grass-Fed Ground Beef (E. coli O26)

Issue: Potential contamination with E. coli O26 detected in raw ground beef.

Hazard: Severe gastrointestinal illness, including bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramping, with risk of hemolytic uremic syndrome, particularly in children and immunocompromised individuals.

Recall/Alert: USDA FSIS recall issued Dec. 27, 2025 and extending into January 2026.

Remedy: Do not consume. Discard product or return to the retailer for a refund.

 

Choceur Holiday Bark (Allergen Recall – Expanded)

Issue: Packaging errors led to undeclared pecans and wheat in certain Aldi holiday bark products.

Hazard: Life-threatening allergic reactions for individuals with nut or wheat allergies.

Recall/Alert: Expanded FDA recall notice in December 2025.

Remedy: Do not eat. Discard product or return for a refund.

 

Matrix & Vision Treadmills (Fire Hazard, READ MORE ON OUR BLOG)

Issue: Certain high-end treadmill models were sold without a power-cord securing bracket, allowing the cord to loosen during use.

Hazard: Electrical arcing, overheating, and potential fires causing burn injuries and property damage, particularly in apartment gyms, hotels, rehabilitation centers, and commercial fitness facilities.

Recall/Alert: Manufacturer recall covering units sold from 2007 through 2024.

Remedy: Unplug immediately, check model and serial numbers, and request the free locking-style replacement power cord before resuming use.

 

Frigidaire Mini Refrigerators (Fire Hazard – Expanded)

Issue: Internal electrical components may short circuit, overheat, or spark in compact refrigerators.

Hazard: Fire and burn risks, smoke inhalation, and residential property damage.

Recall/Alert: Expanded CPSC recall covering nearly one million units sold between 2020 and 2023.

Remedy: Stop using immediately and contact the manufacturer for repair, replacement, or refund.

 

Genova Yellowfin Tuna Cans (Botulism Risk)

Issue: Defective seals may allow contamination with Clostridium botulinum.

Hazard: Life-threatening botulism that can cause paralysis, respiratory failure, and death if untreated.

Recall/Alert: FDA recall after quarantined cans were mistakenly reshipped to stores in multiple states in early 2026.

Remedy: Do not consume even if the can appears normal. Dispose safely and contact the retailer or manufacturer.
