Issue: The fire pits can cause uncontrolled pool fires and dangerous flame jetting when alcohol fuel is used.
Hazard: Flames can spread suddenly across spilled or pooled fuel or shoot from fuel containers, creating a risk of severe or fatal burn injuries. Injuries have been reported.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 affecting approximately 48,700 Brookstone-branded tabletop fire pits.
Remedy: Stop using immediately and contact Southern Telecom for a full refund. Do not sell or give away the recalled fire pits.
KTM, GASGAS & Husqvarna Off-Road Motorcycles (Crash Hazard)
Issue: The rear brake caliper can crack or break, reducing the effectiveness of the motorcycle’s braking system.
Hazard: Loss of braking ability can cause a rider to lose control or be unable to stop, creating a risk of serious injury or death in a crash.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 involving approximately 21,040 motorcycles in the United States, with an additional 4,140 sold in Canada.
Remedy: Stop riding the recalled motorcycles immediately and contact an authorized GASGAS or Husqvarna Motorcycle dealer for a free repair.
JINHEZO Mini Waterproof LED Tea Lights (Battery Ingestion Hazard)
Issue: Children can easily access the button batteries inside the tea lights, in violation of federal safety requirements. The products also lack warnings required under Reese’s Law.
Hazard: Swallowed button batteries can cause devastating internal chemical burns and other serious injuries and can be fatal.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 involving approximately 2,798 LED tea lights.
Remedy: Stop using the recalled tea lights immediately and contact Mystic ZO for a full refund. Follow local hazardous-waste procedures when disposing of the batteries.
Goal Zero YETI 3000X Power Stations (Fire & Burn Hazard)
Issue: A circuit board inside the portable power station can overheat.
Hazard: Overheating can lead to fire and serious burn injuries, particularly when the units are being used or stored inside homes, garages, recreational vehicles, or other enclosed areas.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 affecting approximately 46,200 YETI 3000X power stations.
Remedy: Stop using the power station immediately and install the free firmware update available through Goal Zero or contact the company for assistance installing the repair.
Workbless Pressure Washers (Shock & Electrocution Hazard)
Issue: The pressure washers lack a required ground-fault circuit interrupter and an adequately sized power cord.
Hazard: Because pressure washers are routinely operated around water, these electrical deficiencies create a serious risk of shock, electrocution, and death.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 affecting approximately 2,200 pressure washers in the United States and another 657 in Canada.
Remedy: Stop using immediately and contact Workbless for a full refund. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for disabling and disposing of the recalled unit.
Koorlian Mattresses (Fire Hazard)
Issue: The mattresses fail to comply with mandatory federal mattress flammability standards.
Hazard: A mattress that does not adequately resist ignition or slow the spread of fire can increase the risk of serious burn injuries or death in a residential fire.
Recall/Alert: CPSC recall issued August 2026 for Koorlian mattresses sold on Amazon by Dream Bedding Technology.
Remedy: Stop using the recalled mattress immediately and contact Dream Bedding Technology for a free cover designed to bring the mattress into compliance with federal flammability requirements.
